How to Play Cake Walk Carnival Game:
Set a minimum number to play. For example, if you have 10 numbers on the ground, you may decide at least 7 players needed per game.
Players stand on one of the floor numbers. When the music is played the participants walk around the circle on the floor numbers. When the music stops, so do the players. The carnival booth volunteer then draws out a number from the bowl. The carnival player whose number is drawn wins a packaged goodie! All other players receive a consolation prize. This is the most popular booth at our school – grown-ups and kids play this awesome carnival game for a chance to win a baked treat! We charge 75 cents to play the cake walk carnival game.
Suggestion: Request a baked good from each of the staff at the school. Kids would love to win a goodie from their favorite teacher!
* It is a good idea to request that every homemade treat donated to the cake walk carnival booth have the recipe included with the dessert. Not only is this a great way to share your favorite recipe with others, this greatly helps those with food allergies!!
