Supplies Needed for Halloween Game - Pumpkin Pop Ring Toss:

18 - 24 (or more) Single Serving Orange Colored Soda Bottles
A Thick Permanent Marker - Black Color
A Thick Permanent Marker - Black Color
24 - 48 Orange bags or paper to cover bottles - if used during the day
24 - 48 Cane Rack Rings - if used during the day - sold below
Tablecloth or other table decorations
Tablecloth Clips - if used outdoors
Stand-behind lines or (colorful cones, sidewalk chalk, pool noodles, etc.)
Game Prizes - consolation and top prizes
Ticket Box and Game Sign

Game Setup:

Set up a large grouping of individual glass sodas  2 - 4 dozen or more - in the middle of the carnival booth or on a table. The bottles can be about 1 inch apart or right next to each other to make the game slightly easier.

You will want to have a few different "stand behind" lines for different aged players. Your youngest players should be about one yardstick away from the bottles.

This traditional carnival game is a game of luck - it is difficult to place a ring directly on a soda bottle, so generally, they bounce around the bottles, and the player is lucky if they ring a bottle!

Aside from ease of setup, another great reason to choose this game is that it almost advertises itself! When the hard plastic rings bounce off the bottles, they make a clanking sound and seem to add to the festive atmosphere of any event!

How to Play the Pumpkin Pop Ring Toss Carnival Game:

Carnival players are given five rings to try "ringing" one of the individual glass sodas. If they ring a soda, they receive a top prize!

For most games, carnival players are given three tries - but we found with the Cola Ring Toss Game, even if you stand close, it is difficult to "ring" a single serving soda bottle with the hard plastic rings - so having a few extra chances is excellent.

You will find typically 1 in about 12 wins at this game.

Sometimes, for cola ring toss games, we give away a soda. But for fall festivals, we recommend a top prize for this game although you can choose to have bottles of 2-liter soda as the top prize if you choose!
